Happy December guys! Are you all ready for the holidays? I am still working on our holiday shopping, you? It is only the 8th so we still have time!
I put together a list of my favorite kitchen items that we use all the time as well as a few things I have my eye on this holiday season! They range from little stocking stuffers to the big present! The links are listed below just click on the item name. Enjoy and happy shopping!
Okay guys, this is the big one! We received this as a gift from my parents a few years back and I am not sure there has been a day that I don’t use it (Ok, well really I use it multiple times a day)! It gets through everything (this morning’s frozen coconut chunks in my smoothie) and can be used for anything and it even cleans itself! Best blender ever (it should be for the $$$); I even take it with me when I travel to my parents’ house…that’s normal…right?
I love this one for soups and apple sauce. So very easy to just blend everything in the pot without having to transfer over to the Vitamix.
#3 Love Real Food Cookbook by Cookie and Kate’s Kathryne Taylor ($16.48)
This is the cookbook I use the most, which actually floors me because it’s vegetarian. Everything in it is SO good, you won’t miss the meat and I haven’t had a flop yet!
I can’t wait to try the other flavors from these guys; I’ve only tried the Curry Honey Mustard which is just bonkers!!! It is sublime in a salad dressing, on grilled sausage, in a grilled cheese or mixed into coleslaw… I could go on!
#5 Bragg Organic Sprinkle Seasoning 1.5oz
I know… weird but this is a STAPLE in my kitchen! It makes the perfect stocking stuffer! If you like rosemary, you will love this. Perfect on anything roasted…sweet potatoes, tomatoes, chicken…I add it to everything!
I LOVE this pan. It’s the best for homemade pizza dough, or a frozen pizza from the store…even a cauliflower crust. It even makes reheated pizza not taste like…well, reheated pizza!
Best Tea EVER. Every flavor out of this brand is great, but this one’s my absolute favorite.
Given the amount of salad we consume in our house, this is a must!
I bought this pie dish on a girl’s weekend in Vermont when we were lucky enough to have a private pottery class with the lovely owners, Zoe and James. My turn on the wheel didn’t quite produce something as amazing as this dish! I cherish this piece, obviously for the memories, but really it makes the perfect brownie plate, frittata presentation or bowl for layered tomato & mozzarella! Also one of my favorite wedding gifts to give, too!
This, I think, is actually the same brand that does private label for Trader Joe’s Bourbon Barrel Maple Syrup… it is DIVINE. I use this over yogurt and fruit, in baked goods, ribs…even over ice cream! The flavor is fantastic!
Here are a few things I have had my eye on for a while now!
I may be a little late to the bandwagon but I am so intrigued by this kitchen appliance! Make my own yogurt? Yes please. Perfect rice cooker? Why, yes, that would be lovely. Pulled pork ready in less than 2 hours? SIGN ME UP!
Just what I need to figure out how to use said Instant Pot! NY Times food writer, Melissa Clark, is amazing and this book is beautiful!
#3 OXO Soft Handled Garlic Press ($15.99)
I used to have a garlic press and I have no idea where I went! With the copious amounts of salad dressing I make I NEED a garlic press! I also find that OXO products never fail!
What are on your lists this year? What are you giving and what are you wishing for?
