March & April Favorites 2022…
Well… it’s been a while! I fully started a March Favs post… and then got some of the worst food poisoning (like my parents had to come take care of my kids because Matt was traveling!) ever; so that was derailed. Spring Break, Easter and construction took up the rest of the month. I was all ready to have both month’s favorites posted on time for April and got Covid! Gah!!! It’s like the universe is conspiring against my blog posts- ha!
So… I had a little time in quarantine to finish up the posts so here they are!
I DO miss writing. I really do. Felt good to put this together!

March Favorites 2022…

- Nine Lives by Peter Swanson – I love his books- disclaimer, they are very dark, but always a good twisty mystery. I read this in two days.
- Egg Sandwich Maker – The one thing I miss (SO MUCH!) only working with the kitchenette is eggs. In comes the egg sandwich maker… yes it totally works! Layer in your favorites and in 4 minutes you have an egg sandwich. It worked overtime this month for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
- Cheek Tint – Super fan of this brand. This doubles for cheeks and lips and provides a subtle glow. Blends in nicely!
- Trousers – I LIVED in these for the entire month of March. Surprise, they are sweatpants. Insanely cozy but I felt like I was totally put together. Digging wide legs lately!
- Bronzer – I have been a die hard Bobbi Brown fan for eons, but I was away for the weekend and forgot my make up bag and picked this up. Love this clean beauty brand so not surprised this was a GREAT bronzer!
- Toothbrush – Basic? Maybe. But this favorite is kind of rock star. My teeth feel SO clean because this toothbrush pulses!
- Squeezable Tahini – This may seem a little odd, but does anyone else have a love hate relationship with Tahini? I love to add it to salad dressing to thicken and add a nutty zing, but I hate stirring the container, it always gets everywhere. In come this squeezable tahini! You can add just a little bit to your salad dressing, or dress up roasted vegetables or make hummus (I have not done that in months!). It is totally mess free and delicious!
- Yoga Leggings – Needed new ones… I forget how much wear they get. These are definitely a new favorite and I will slowly replace all my old ones with this pair! They stay up and are completely unrestricting, totally necessary in Lizard!
- Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins – A little slow to start on this one, but ended up as a good (albeit ruthless) page turner. A very messy and adult Lord of the Flies.
- Scream – We have always loved this movie franchise . The latest installment is a little grittier but no less fun. Lots of references to the originals!
- Workout Leggings – With pockets! I love these for working out AND for walking the dog- phone fits in the pocket perfectly. They have a nice amount of compression and are outrageously comfortable!
- Pieces of Her (Netflix) – If you need something with a decent plot that gives you a few anxious moments here is your show! Totally Bingeable.
- Stripe Top – I buy a new stripe top every two years and it was time! Perfect for Spring, slightly thicker for these sunny but slightly brisk days!
- Windfall (Netflix) – A quirky and dark movie keeps you moving until the OMG ending. A different role for Lily Collins, Jesse Plemons and Jason Segel, but they all shine!
April Favorites 2022…
We took off to Orlando for break… 6 days of amusement park joy and chaos. We did Disney and Universal Studios and had an absolute ball. Do I need a dedicated post for that?

- Long Sleeve Top – A thin and breathable layer that is perfect for an outdoor workout and also throwing around your waist walking Disney!
- Gauzy Top – Love this! It’s been great under a cardigan or a blazer with jeans but equally cute with cut-offs (FL!). I can even see it partially tucked with a long skirt this Summer.
- Crinkle Shirt – Another win from Spring Break Panic Shopping… Light enough but perfect for chillier morning. The lavender color is SO pretty in person, the photo doesn’t do it justice. Will be great for cool Summer nights too!
- Trek Shorts – The name of these says it all. They were the most perfect amusement park short that ever existed! Quick dry, light weight, not super fitted, zip pockets AND flattering!
- Belt Bag – AKA Fanny Pack. Legit, old school, fanny pack. This was ESSENTIAL for Orlando. I wore it slung, not around my waist, and it was comfortable, kept my hands free, super small but somehow held everything we needed! Room keys, tickets, sunscreen, wallet, sunglasses and phones! Matt even rocked it too! ESSENTIAL!
- Flight Attendant (HBO MAX) – Season two is back! Still a clever and highly amusing show!
- Effortless Dress – My friend hosted a trunk show for Cara Cara and there were so many fantastic pieces I could have brought home to my closet! I know I will wear this dress on repeat, dress it up and down!
- Air Force 1 – I feel as if I have been searching for a great pair of everyday sneakers that were comfortable, cute and looked good with dresses… these are the pair!
- Shirt Dress – I have this as shirt and I wear it at least once a week… I have been eyeing the dress version and travel seemed like the perfect reason to splurge! It was perfect for casual dinners out!
- House of Gucci – Watched this on our flight and I was enamored! Lady Gaga was just SO good and I had no idea about the back story of Gucci. Highly recommend!
- Selling Sunset (Netflix)– The latest season dropped, this one brings even more highly bingeable drama!
- One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid – Here I go again with another Taylor Jenkins Reid novel… listening to this one and I am hooked. Her character development is always so good, I feel like I know the players!
- HUM Flatter Me – I am constantly looking for ways to aid my digestion after to bouts of SIBO… I randomly picked this up in the airport on our way to FL and I must admit it seems to work!
- T-Shirts – Cute and clean new tees! These are a little cropped so they tuck in nicely to high waisted pieces! I got white and black, but I like the pink too!
