Backpacks. Yay or nay?

We’ve gone on an adventure of some sort every weekend with the kids and each time I’ve noticed just how annoying it is to carry a tote bag. You are chasing or carrying kids, it’s constantly slipping down your shoulder and, for the love of God, that bag is HEAVY!

What’s my latest solution? A backpack – really???

At first I cringed at the thought..why not just totally geek out and get a fanny pack.  It seems though, that I have missed the boat because backpacks appear to be IN. I did a quick search online and there are some really stylish ones out there… and some really expensive ones, so clearly designers are following the trend!

My mom received one from MZ Wallace not too long ago so I tested hers out. It’s quite cute and functional so it made the round up below.

With School Break on the horizon a backpack might be just the perfect thing for traveling. Hands free and practical all while being fashionable as you chase your kids through the airport. I’ve put together a collection of backpacks that I think are practical, versatile, sophisticated and cool; you may just catch me wearing one!
