A MODERN HOUSEWIFE

We live in a sweet house. We’ve been here for 12 years and always planned on moving to a slightly bigger property at some point… especially as the kids grow. Man, do we need to do that. The comfort of a house changes dramatically when the entire household is home… 24/7.
With that in mind we decided it was time to amp up our patio space so we could have “another room.”
We had been holding off on purchasing anything with the plan of moving on the horizon… but when we uncovered our wooden outdoor dining table and found it was rotting… we knew it was time.

I did a lot of research around this- we wanted to go high/low in terms of price range because we don’t know what a new backyard will look like for us.

We ended up with a nicer sofa on sale, budget friendly chairs and coffee table. A awesome dining table on mega sale and chairs for a steal. (Table and chairs have yet to arrive.)

Debating a rug and more pillows… we shall see. Perhaps a ceramic garden stool in between those wicker chairs!
I adore the pair of Girona chairs from World Market… I almost got those but though the wicker mixed better with our new sofa!

I have thrown together some pieces that can refresh your patio/backyard/deck/fire escape too! We all need an extra space, am I right?
