Book List
I love to read. I find it to be the ultimate escape, more so than tv or movies. So, for me, a book needs to be a real page-turner. My mother has always told me life is too short to finish a book you aren’t enjoying.
I gravitate to mystery and suspense novels. Gratefully, I have a wonderful book club that makes sure I also read some excellent, thought provoking fiction and non-fiction too!
A few have asked if I have a book list, so it was time to compile one! Below find 16 of my recent favorites! Click on the book title to purchase!

It’s What I Do: A Photographer’s Life of Love and War by Lynsey Addario
Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart (I think this technically falls in the Young Adult category but I loved it!)

All is Not Forgotten – Wendy Walker
You Should Have Known – by Jean Hanff Korelitz
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt (Yes, it is long. Yes, at times tedious. But well worth it in the end and it won the Pulitzer!)
The Burgess Boys by Elizabeth Strout (All her books are fantastic.)
The Woman in the Window – A.J. Finn
Defending Jacob by William Landay
The Lying Game by Ruth Ware ( I liked all her books! In a Dark, Dark Wood is also a page turner!)
A Spool of Blue Thread by Anne Tyler
Also… what I am reading next! Not all are currently out, but available for pre-order!
Look Alive Out There: Essays by Sloane Crosley
The Death of Mrs. Westway by Ruth Ware
