• My Own Magic Green Sauce

    Okay, a Pinch Of Yum’s 5 Minute Magic Green Sauce is really… well… magical. I love it and would put it on anything and everything (make it, really!)… BUT, my oldest has a sensitivity to pistachios and parsley (I know, so odd) and has a really awful reaction… so it doesn’t work for family dinner. And actually, neither does the jalapeño… This means I needed to make my own version of this sauce that is friendly to my house, and my kids gobbled it up!     This week was no less of a blur than last week… where did it go? What happened? It’s conference week here for schools which means half-days (or no school for my youngest!) so it always changes the pace of the week. I did NOT get to my Bermuda post… it’s coming, I promise!   • Black Beans in the Instant Pot

    I love black beans. Love them!  I have found them to be a little trickier to make at home than any other bean. Why? Who knows. It has just been difficult to achieve that perfect inky soft bowl of beans we get at our favorite taco joint. Since the Instant Pot seems to be able to do no wrong I thought I would give it a whirl. We are not huge heat lovers in this house so I like to make things mild and add hot sauce after the fact to taste. Feel free to add some jalapenos here to bring the heat you want.
