• Carbon38 Sale!

I need some new workout gear STAT. Most of it is old, gross or just plain too big (thank you, Rachel, I adore you!) so I have been slowly trying to rebuild the workout wear section of my closet. Workout clothing isn’t cheap! But there are days that I wear it from when I roll out of bed until it’s time to go to bed… so I can spring for a few nicer pairs of leggings that will last and also look good when I am running ALL the errands on those marathon days. Carbon38 is a awesome online shop for workout goods (and also leisurewear) and they happen to…

  • Summer of the jumpsuit…

I have been loving jumpsuits since last Fall and I can safely say that they are officially the the easiest outfit of the Summer. Like with a dress, you can put together an outfit in no time; they are so simple to dress up or down. Unlike a dress, you can pretty much do anything in a jumpsuit… run after a small child, easily sit in the grass or the sand and most importantly (at least to me!) you can ride a bike in a jumpsuit! (Okay, maybe I would not ride a bike in #10, but it is my mode of summer transportation most nights!) Cropped, wide leg, prints,…

  • May Favorites…

May is all about getting ready for summer right? Or at least getting my closet ready for summer. I have been on a major purge lately getting rid of things we don’t love or use anymore (read HERE), and my closet has been hit hard (more on that in a future post!)… so I need some fun replacements! Also, have been on a reading tear, I even got to meet the lovely sisters behind the Liv Constantine hit The Last Mrs. Parrish, #12 on the list! Without further ado… my May favorites! • Packing for Spring Break!

Spring Break is almost here! Well for us in New England anyways! After what seemed to be a long (LONG) winter I am excited to take off for a few days and get a little Vitamin D! I have been giving my closet (well, house too) a major overhaul and I am finding so much of my clothing for warmer temps is the wrong size, out of style or just plain tired. I have been hunting for a few new things to add to my warm weather gear while I pack for Spring Break! I have added some work out gear (just in case, also good for that plane ride!),…

  • What to wear for Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving has always been a favorite holiday in my family. This year we will be having a very low key family filled Thanksgiving and remembering what we are grateful for in this life. I am sure I will be wearing something comfortable and casual… but dressing up is fun too! It is only two weeks away so here are some ideas of what to wear when gathering for the holiday. The mixing of textures and fabrics is the key for these outfits. Velvet is so hot right now and give me a chunky knit any day! I also have a handful of friends heading to warmer climates for the holiday…

  • Point Sur X J. Crew

My apologies for being behind on blog posts. While I am working out this SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth… lovely. I will do a post on it in the future)  with Low FODMAPS diet situation, my meals have been boring, redundant and not always that colorful… I have not had any inspirations for new recipes as of late. That said, I am actually excited to have been diagnosed with SIBO (yesterday!) so I can move on with treatment and get back to cooking! The other thing that has been all consuming, although exciting and fun, is our house renovation. I  have spent so much time looking at tile, lighting, paint…

  • Spring Wardrobe Refresher

Two things. One, it felt like Spring actually arrived yesterday in the Northeast (today is cold a dreary), and I opened my closet and felt like I had NOTHING to wear. This happens to me with the change of every season… anyone else? Two, Bloomingdales  25% off Friends and Family Sale ends TONIGHT (4/15/18). So, I figured I would put together some items that I feel breathe some life into my wardrobe for Spring!
